Joint issue of Belarus and Russia. 75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

On May 8, 2020 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the souvenir sheet “Joint issue of Belarus and Russia. 75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War”.

 

Design: Yauheniya Biadonik. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: frame 13^1/2: 13. Stamp size: 37x52 mm. Souvenir sheet size: 109x88 mm. The technology of thermal stamping with metalized foil of red colour was used on the souvenir sheet. Print quantity: 20.000 souvenir sheets.

 

Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin”.

 

Letter “P” is equal to the air-mail tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

 

Joint issue of Belarus and Russia. 75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

 

The joint issue of Belarus and Russia was prepared to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War is the greatest event of the 20th century that predetermined the modern development of the world community.

 

The project was prepared on the materials of All Saints Parish of Minsk and the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War History.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”, 16 Moskovskaya street) on the souvenir sheet issuing day.
