100 Years of Border Guard Service of Belarus

On January 10, 2018 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “100 years of Border Guard Service of Belarus”.
 
Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 13: 131/4. Stamp size: 52x29,6mm. Sheet composition: 6 (2x3) stamps. Sheet size: 127x113 mm. While printing the stamp they used the technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of golden colour. Print quantity: 72.000 stamps.
 
Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin”.
 
Face value A is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus.

100 years of Border Guard Service of Belarus

Element of protection
On May 28, 2018 the Republic of Belarus will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the border guard service. On that day in 1918 the border guard of the RSFSR was established by the decree of the Council of People's Commissars. It is this date that the Belarusian border guards consider the starting point of their history.
 
Today the personnel of the Border Service of Belarus with honor continues the glorious traditions of the previous generations of border guards, reliably ensures the border security of our country.
 
The project was prepared in cooperation with the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
 
 
Colour of the postmark — red.
 
Special postmark and FDC designed by T. Kuznetsova.
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”,16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day.
