RCC Subjects. National Crafts

On February 17, 2017 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 2 stamps “National crafts” with the emblem of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC).
 
The series continuation. Beginning Nos.889, 920, 921, 980, 1040, 1050, 1103. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation combined: 12: 12, diagonal 123/4. Size of the stamps: 28x40 mm. Sheet composition.: 10 (5x2) stamps in joint sheet of 5 sets. Size of the sheet: 162x103 mm. Print quantity: 65.000 stamps each.
 
The stamps were printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin”.
 
Face value N is equal to the surface tariff of a postcard abroad.
 
Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

In 2011 Communications Administrations — members of RCC signed the Agreement on issuing postage stamps of RCC subjects. In 2014 a new Addition to the Agreement for the period from 2016 to 2020 was signed. The first issue of this period is the stamp “National cuisine. Kalduny”. The stamps “National crafts” are the series continuation.
The RCC stamp issues are notable for using the emblem of RCC in their design.
The project was prepared on the materials from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Main Post Office of Minsk on the stamps issuing day.
