On January 18, 2017 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 4 stamps “Kittens” of the series “Children philately”. Artist: Alexander Mityanin.Design: Marina Vitkovskaya.Printing: offset.Colour: multicoloured.Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed.Perforation: comb 12: 121/4.Size of the stamps: 30x28 mm.Sheets composition: 9 (3x3) stamps.Size of the sheets: 113x110 mm.Print quantity: 72.000 stamps each. The stamps were printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value A is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus. Face value N is equal to the surface tariff of a postcard abroad. |

Representatives of the Bengal cat are kind, affectionate and friendly. They make a wide range of sounds. The Bengal cat is shorthair. Its fur contains many interesting tabby colours, which make the Bengal cat unique. Maine Coons have a peaceful and docile nature. They are playful and incredibly affectionate with small children. Thanks to large ears and distinctive tassels on their tips they are very similar to lynxes. The Scottish Fold is a very attractive cat. It has an unusual appearance and a plush coat of a wide range of colour. It is very friendly and quiet. Kittens are born with the same pressed ears. The British Shorthair is an outstanding representative of the oldest breeds officially registered more than 100 years ago. The cat has a good, gentle disposition, easy to get along with people. The main difference of the breed is the skin fold around a massive round head. The project was prepared in cooperation with the Belarusian feline centre "Felita". |
