On October 5, 2016 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 2 stamps “National parks” from the series “Joint issue of Belarus and Pakistan”. Designers: stamp No.1156 — Yelena Medved (photo by S.Plytkevich); stamp No.1157 — Adil Salahuddin.Printing: offset.Colour: multicoloured.Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed.Perforation: comb 13: 131/2.Size of the stamps:52x29,6 mm.Sheet composition: 8 (4+4) stamps in joint sheet of 4 sets.Size of the sheet:126x148 mm.Print quantity: 44.000 stamps each. The stamps were printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. The National Park "Narachanski" is located in the north-west of Belarus and it is a part of Belarusian Lakeland. It is created in 1999 for the conservation of landscapes, biological richness and genetic fund of flora and fauna. The Saiful Muluk National Park is located in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan in the heart of mountainous Himalayas. It was created in 2003 to preserve wildlife in its natural state. The world wide renowned Saiful Muluk Lake is located in the park. It is one of the highest lakes of Pakistan. In winter its surface is entirely icebound. The Project is prepared in cooperation with Embassy of the Republic Belarus in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Face value A is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus. Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. |
