On July 3, 2016 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 2 stamps and a souvenir sheet of the series “State symbols of the Republic of Belarus”.
 
The stamps and souvenir sheet were printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”.
 
Design of the stamps: Marina Vitkovskaya. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: No.1125 — comb 131/2: 13, No.1126 — comb 13: 131/2. Size of the stamps: No.1125 — 37x26 mm; No.1126 — 26x37mm. Sheets composition: 6 (2x3), (3x2) stamps. Size of the sheets: No.1125 — 95x103 mm; No.1126 — 97x101mm. While printing the stamps they used the technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of silver (No.1125) and golden (No.1126) colour. Print quantity: 102.000 stamps each.
 
Face value A is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus.
Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.
Face value P is equal to the air-mail tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

In accordance with Article 19 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus the symbols of the Republic of Belarus as a sovereign state are the National Flag, the National Emblem and the National Anthem.
 
The National Flag and the National Emblem of the Republic of Belarus are symbols of state sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus.
 
The National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus is a musical and poetic work performed in cases stipulated by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 5, 2004, No.301-3 "About the State Symbols of the Republic of Belarus" and other legal acts of the Republic of Belarus.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Main Post Office in Minsk on the stamps and souvenir sheet issuing day.
