| On May 29, 2015 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 4 stamps of the series “The Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus. Shrubs”. Designer: Yelena Medved. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 12: 121/2. Size of the stamps: 28x40 mm. Face value of each stamp: N. Sheets composition: 6 (2x3) stamps & 1 coupon. Size of the sheets: 139x104 mm. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps each. The stamps were printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Letter “N” is equal to the air-mail tariff of a postcard abroad. |

| The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus was founded in 1932 in Minsk. At present the Central Botanical Garden is a unique natural object of landscape art. It combines the features of metropolitan attractions and major cultural & educational, eco-educational and educational centre. It is one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe both by the composition of its collection (more than 10 000 species) as well as by its area (about 100 hectares). The stamp project was prepared in cooperation with the Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus. |
