| On February 8, 2014 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk”. Designer: Ivan Lukin. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 131/2. Size of the stamp: 52x29,6 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (2x3) stamps. Size of the sheet: 135x119 mm. Print quantity: 240.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will be hosted in Minsk from 9 to 25 May 2014. Minsk was selected as the host city of the 78th IIHF World Championship in May 2009 at the International Ice Hockey Federation Congress held in Bern. The two main venues for the Championship will be MCSC “Minsk-Arena” and MCSEC “Chizhovka-Arena”. The stamps were printed with the logo of the 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. |
