| On January 28, 2013 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “Track cycling world championship 2013”. Designer: Ivan Lukin. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 141/4: 14. Size of the stamp: 28x30 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (2x3) stamps. Size of the sheet: 78,6x114 mm. Print quantity: 48.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Letter “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. Historical reference: From 20 to 24 February 2013 Track Cycling world championship will start in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. This significant event, which will be first held in the Republic of Belarus, confirms the sports image of our country. Track cycling is one of the most popular and oldest disciplines of cycling, the most prestigious and spectacular event. About 500 of the world leading racers from more than 50 countries of the world will take part in this competition. The design is prepared in collaboration with Belarusian Cycling Federation. There is the logo of Track cycling world championship in Minsk 2013 on the stamp. |
