On February 16, 2010 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue a stamp “Ivan Naumenko. 1925-2006. People’s writer of Belarus”.
Designer: Halina Yermalovich. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 131/2. Size of the stamp: 52x29,6 mm. Sheet composition: 5 stamps & 1 coupon. Size of the sheet: 178x98 mm. Print quantity: 50.000 stamps.
There are elements of protection on the stamp.
Historical reference: Ivan Naumenko was a People’s writer of Belarus, a literary critic and a public man. The creative work of Ivan Naumenko was a prominent phenomenon in Belarusian literature of the second half of the 20th century. In his works he showed the struggle of Belarus people against German fascist invaders, the life of Belarusians during and after the World War II. Many scientific works of Ivan Naumenko are dedicated to the investigation of the history of Belarus literature and of the works of Belarus writers: Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Vincent Dunin-Marcinkevich, Zmitrok Byadulya, Maxim Bogdanovich, Kuzma Chorny.
