200th Birth Anniversary of Ivan Khrutski

On February 8, 2010 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue a souvenir sheet “200th birth anniversary of Ivan Khrutski”.
Designers: Oksana Suzko & Ivan Lukin. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 14: 141/4. There are 2 stamps in the souvenir sheet. Size of the stamps: 40x28 mm. Size of the souvenir sheet: 102x62 mm. Print quantity: 15.000 souvenir sheets.
There are elements of protection on the stamps.
Historical reference: Ivan Khrutski (1810-1885) was a Belarusian painter, academician of painting. His paintings are connected with artistic life of Belarus, Lithuania and Russia. His well-known still-lives, portraits, landscapes are painted according to the traditions of academic art.
