In 1019 "The Primary Chronicle" first mentioned Brest — one of the oldest cities of present-day Belarus. In 2019 Brest celebrates its 1000th anniversary.
Brest is a unique city which is a pioneer in many respects: in 1390 it was the first among Belarusian cities to receive the Magdeburg Rights; in 1553 the first Printing House in Belarus was opened there, and in 10 years it published the famous Brest Bible.
Brest has a special place in the cultural and historical heritage of Belarus: it has many attractions and is liked and actively visited by tourists.

The augmented reality technology is applied to the souvenir sheet: when you direct a smartphone camera at the souvenir sheet, while the AR MARKA BELARUS application is running, the image comes to life and a specially created script appears in the augmented reality.
Colour of the postmark — black.

Special postmark and FDC designed by M.Vitkovskaya
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out on the souvenir sheet issuing day at the post office No.30 of Brest.
