On February 1, 2019 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 4 postage stamps of the series “The 2nd European Games Minsk 2019”. Design: Marina Vitkovskaya. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 12. Stamps size: 40x28 mm. Sheets composition: 4 (2x2) stamps & 1 coupon. Sheets size: 149x83 mm. Print quantity: 120.000 stamps each. Printer: Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value A is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus. Face value N is equal to the surface tariff of a postcard abroad. Face value M is equal to the air-mail tariff of a postcard abroad. Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. |

The 2nd European Games in Minsk is the largest multisport event in the history of modern Belarus. From 21 to 30 June 2019, more than 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in 15 sports; about 200 sets of medals will be awarded. Competitions in 10 sports are qualifying for the Games of the XXXII Olympics which will be held in 2020 in Tokyo. Grand shows — the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games — will be hosted by the Dynamo stadium. Shown on the stamps, coupons, sheetlet and FDC is the official logo and slogan of the 2nd European Games 2019. The project was prepared with the assistance of the Foundation “Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019”. |

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”,16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day. |
