On October 18, 2018 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the postage stamp “Joint issue of the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic. 25thanniversary of establishing diplomatic relations”. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Artistsof the coupon Victor Chaichuk (bison) and Vladimr Melnik (snow leopard). Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 12. Stamp size: 40x28 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (3x2) stamps & 1 coupon. Sheet size: 140х120 mm. The technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of red colour is used on the stamp and coupon. Print quantity: 48.000 stamps. Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. |

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic were established on January 21, 1993. Regular exchanges of high-level visits are carried out. Meetings are held between presidents, prime ministers, heads of foreign affairs agencies of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, including meetings within the framework of CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization), EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States). On May 24, 2000, the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was established. In recent years, cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere has been actively developing. The project was prepared in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Kyrgyz Republic. |
