On October 14, 2018 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the postage stamp “Crypt of the Memorial Church in Honor of All Saints”. Design: Yelena Medved. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 131/2: 13. Stamp size: 29,6x52 mm. Sheet composition: 5 stamps & 1 coupon. Sheet size: 134x188,5 mm, figured dies cutting. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps. Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. |

The crypt of the Memorial Church in Honor of All Saints is a group of premises that form a single space in the lower part of the Church. The main idea of the interior of the crypt is represented by the icon of the Resurrection of Christ (pictured on the coupon) and the inextinguishable lamp (pictured on the stamp). The lamp is made of natural marble and art bronze. It was heated by fire, taken from the Holy Tomb in Jerusalem. In the foreground of the First Day Cover is the entrance to the crypt Tears of Belarus, in the background is the Memorial Church in Honor of All Saints. The special postmark is based on the image of a dove with a palm branch in its beak personifying the Holy Spirit. The project was prepared in cooperation with the Parish of the Memorial Church in Honor of All Saints. |
