Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia were established on June 11, 1993. Regular exchanges of high-level visits are carried out. Meetings are held between presidents, prime ministers, heads of foreign affairs agencies of Belarus and Armenia, including meetings within the framework of CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization), EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States). Intensive political dialogue contributes to increasing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation and further expansion of ties in the humanitarian sphere of the two countries.
