On February 19, 2018 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “100 years of Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus”. Artist: Tatyana Dolskaya. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 131/2: 13. Stamp size: 52x29,6mm. Sheet composition: 6 stamps & 6 coupons. Sheet size: 192x112 mm. The technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of golden colour is used on the stamp and stamp margins. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps. Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. |

On February 23, 2018 the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus will be 100 years old. It is this day of the distant 1918 that is considered to be the day of the creation of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. The formation and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus is inseparably linked with the history of the Belarusian Red Banner Military District, on the basis of which the army of a sovereign state — the Republic of Belarus was created. Today the Armed Forces of our country are the guarantor of the inviolability of the borders of the Motherland. The stamp and special postmark are based on the emblem of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. The project was prepared in cooperation with the Military News Agency "Vayar". |
