| On November 13, 2017 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “2017 — Year of Science in Belarus”. Design: Yelena Medved. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 14: 141/4. Size of the stamp: 40x28 mm. Sheet composition: 9 (3x3) stamps. Size of the sheet: 140x104 mm. Print quantity: 54.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Belarusian Printing House Publishing Co.”. Face value A is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus. |

| 2017 was declared the Year of Science by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus A. Lukashenko, with the objective to improve the status of scientists and the role of science in fulfilling the tasks of the social and economic development of Belarus, and to create favorable conditions for preserving the scientific potential of the country. The project was prepared in cooperation with the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus. FDC is based on the logo of the Year of Science in Belarus. |

| A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”,16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day. |
