On June 22, 2017 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “95 years of Belarusian Prosecutor's Office”. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 121/2: 12. Size of the stamp: 28x30 mm. Sheet composition: 6 stamps & 1 coupon. Size of the sheet: 127x112 mm. While printing the stamp and coupon they used the technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of dead golden colour. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Letter “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. The Belarusian Prosecutor's Office, established on June 26, 1922, occupies an important place in the system of law enforcement bodies of the Republic. It plays a coordinating role in the fight against corruption and crime. The tasks of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus are to ensure the supremacy of law and order, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations, as well as public and state interests. The stamp, special cancellation and FDC are based on the emblem of the Belarusian Prosecutor's Office. “Devoting myself to the service of the Law
” is written on the coupon — these are the words from the oath of the prosecutor. First Day Cover depicts the building of the Belarusian Prosecutor's Office and the building in which the Department for the Protection of Revolutionary Law was located in 1922.
