100th Anniversary of Belarusian Militia

| On February 24, 2017 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the souvenir sheet “100th anniversary of Belarusian Militia”. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: No.1185 — round 131/2; No.1186 — frame 13: 131/2. Size: No.1185 — diameter 40 mm; No.1186 — 52x37 mm. Size of the souvenir sheet: 89x89 mm. While printing the souvenir sheet they used the technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of golden colour. Print quantity: 15.000 souvenir sheets. The souvenir sheet was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value “P” is equal to the air-mail tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. |

| On March 4, 2017 the Belarusian Militia will be 100 years. On this day back in 1917 the civilian commander of Minsk signed an order according to which Mikhail Frunze was appointed as temporary Militia chief of the All-Russian Land Union for the protection of order in the city. Today the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is the Republican state administration body which heads the system of internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the Interior Ministry. It carries out within its authority the regulation and management of the fight against crime, protection of public order and public safety and coordinates activities of other state governmental bodies in this area. The project was prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. |

| A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”, 16 Moskovskaya street) on the souvenir sheet issuing day. |
