On December 8, 2016 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “70 years of UNICEF”. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 13: 131/2. Size of the stamp: 52x29,6 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (2x3) stamps. Size of the sheet: 127x112 mm. Print quantity: 42.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) established on December 11, 1946 is the world's largest organization that protects the rights of children in more than 190 countries around the world. In 1997 the UNICEF Office was opened in Minsk. In December 2007 the Basic Agreement on cooperation between Belarus and UNICEF was signed in New York. The main efforts in our country are directed to the protection of rights, the creation of opportunities for the development of children up to 8 years old, children with disabilities, those who are left without parental care, adolescents in conflict with the law, as well as women and children who suffered from violence or were witness to it. The stamp and FDC bare the logo of 70 years of UNICEF. |
