On September 15, 2016 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “25th anniversary of the Customs of the Republic of Belarus”. Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 12. Size of the stamp: 28x30 mm. Sheet composition: 7 stamps & 1 coupon. Size of the sheet: 135x83 mm. Print quantity: 49.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. On 20 September 1991 Resolution No.1101-XII "On the Customs Service of the Republic of Belarus" was adopted. On 20 September 1996 the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No.372 “On introduction of the holiday — Day of Customs officer”. Today the Customs of Belarus is a modern high-tech structure. The Service has become an effective instrument of the state budgeting and a reliable barrier to the violators of the customs legislation. The stamp and special cancellation are based on the emblem of the Customs of the Republic of Belarus. The project was prepared in cooperation with the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
