On September 6, 2016 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “Day of preliminary investigation officer”. Design: Marina Vitkovskaya. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 12. Size of the stamp: 28x30 mm. Sheet composition: 8 stamps & 1 coupon. Size of the sheet: 110x118 mm. While printing the stamp they used the technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of silver colour. Print quantity: 40.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Face value “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No.229 of June 21, 2016 introduced the Day of preliminary investigation officer, which is marked on 12 September. The selected date is not accidental; it is on September 12, 2011 the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No.409 "On the formation of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus". This event was preceded by a large-scale scientific and analytical work. Foreign experience was studied; the current situation in the legal, social and political spheres was assessed. The stamp is based on the emblem of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
