70 years since liberation of Belarus and Russia from German fascist invaders

On April 18, 2014 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the souvenir sheet “70 years since liberation of Belarus and Russia from German fascist invaders” from the series “Joint issue of Belarus and Russia”.

Designer: Sergey Ulyanovsky. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: frame 14. There is 1 stamp in the souvenir sheet. Size of the stamp: 54x26 mm. Size of the souvenir sheet: 148x70 mm. Print quantity: 20.000 souvenir sheets.

The souvenir sheet was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”.

 

In 2014 the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation celebrate a significant event — the 70 anniversary of liberation from German fascist invaders in World War II.

Postal Administrations of Belarus and Russia signed an agreement on the joint issue of souvenir sheets, First Day Covers and special postmarks devoted to this event. The original layout of the souvenir sheet was prepared by the Russian side. Our countries decided to release a souvenir sheet simultaneously on April 18, 2014.
