60th anniversary of Belarus' entry into UNESCO

On April 14, 2014 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “60^th anniversary of Belarus' entry into UNESCO”.

Designer: Ivan Lukin. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 13^1/2. Size of the stamp: 52x29,6 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (2x3) stamps. Size of the sheet: 123x110 mm. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps.

The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin”.

 

In 2014 the Republic of Belarus celebrates the 60th anniversary of its entry into the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The Republic of Belarus attaches great importance to the cooperation in the framework of UNESCO and takes an active stand in the governing and subsidiary bodies of the Organization. That's why our country has a solid reputation among Member States.

The stamp project was prepared in cooperation with the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO.
