| On May 22, 2013 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus” from the series “Theatres of Belarus”. Designer: Anna Malash. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 131/2. Size of the stamp: 52x29,6 mm. Sheet composition: 5 stamps. Size of the sheet: 125x172 mm. Print quantity: 50.000 stamps. The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”. Letter “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad. There is the emblem of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus on the stamp. The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus was founded in 1933 as the State Opera and Ballet Theatre on the basis of the Belarusian opera and ballet school. In 1940 it was awarded the title “Bolshoi” (Big) and in 1964 — the title “Academic”. It has the largest theatre company in our country. |
