| On December 8, 2009 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue a souvenir sheet “10 years since signing the Foundation Treaty of the Union State”. Designer: Ivan Lukin. Printing: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb. 141/4: 14. There is 1 stamp and 2 coupons in the souvenir sheet. Size of the stamp: 28x40 mm. Size of the souvenir sheet: 113x70 mm. There is yellow foil stamping on the souvenir sheet. Print quantity: 10.000 souvenir sheets. There are elements of protection on the stamp. Historical reference: On December 8, 1999 the session of the Supreme Council of Belarus and Russia was held in Moscow. After the session the Presidents B. N. Yeltsin and A. G. Lukashenko signed the Treaty about the foundation of the Union State (Belarus-Russia) and the Plan of its realization. On January 26, 2000 the Treaty came into force. |
