On August 20, 2003 Belarus Post will issue 3 souvenir sheets depicting the exhibits of National museum of history and culture of Belarus.
Artistic design: Vladimir Terentjev and Alexander Yevmenenko. Printing process: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk surfaced. Perforation: frame. Stamp size in the souvenir sheet: no. 513 — 52 x 29,6 mm, no. 514-515 — 28x30 mm. Souvenir sheets size: 82x53 mm. Print quantity: 25.000 each.
There are elements of protection on the stamps.

The so-called lace ornament is typical for the ceramics of this period. This ornament was made by pressing the cord in the surface of non-burnt ceramics.

"Shestopior" — the strike-pierced weapon of the XIV-th century. At the Late Middle Ages the "Shestopior" was used not only as a weapon but also as the symbol of military power.
